Delete your Plynt account

Plynt is published by Port Forty LLC. You can delete your Plynt account and the data associated with it at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from the app
- Open Plynt and sign in.
- Go to your Profile tab and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account under the Account section.
- Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or prefer to ask us directly, email [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my Plynt account" from the email address on your account. We verify the request against that address and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will confirm by email when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account, sign-in credentials, email address, username, display name, bio and avatar photo
- Your game logs, ratings, reviews, comments, likes, lists and follows
- Your physical collection, its valuation history and any shared shelf page or shelf card
- Push notification tokens and notification history
- Analytics data tied to your account identifier
What is kept, and for how long
- Subscription records. If you subscribed to Plynt Premium, the purchase record stays with the store you bought it through (Google Play or the App Store) and with our billing provider for as long as tax and accounting rules require, typically up to 7 years. It is no longer linked to a Plynt account.
- Moderation records. If your content was reported, we keep the report itself, without your personal details, to enforce our community rules.
- Backups. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before it is overwritten.
Deleting your Plynt account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in Google Play or the App Store first if you do not want to be charged again.
